Maria is a retired Procurement professional. Maria has 30+ years of professional experience in the hi-
tech industry. Her extensive Procurement career spans many high growth companies including Hewlett-
Packard, Agilent Technologies and Intuit. Her strengths include driving Procurement transformation,
building high performing teams that fuel strategic value to business results, and effective supplier
relationship management. In support of diversity and inclusion, Maria is the founder of the Latinx
employee network at Intuit. This employee resource group embraces the power of Latino culture and
community to accelerate Intuit’s growth, nurture Latinx talent and inspire leadership. She has passion for
Latinx youth and upcoming leaders. Maria works very closely with the Latino Business Student
Association at San Jose State University offering a tax event for college students to prepare their own
taxes. Maria earned her B.A. in Business Administration from the University of Puget Sound, Tacoma,
WA. Recently she is building relationships and programs with Latinx students and alumni at her alma
mater. Outside of work, Maria enjoys the outdoors, sporting activities, spending time with family, friends,
and her dog.
