DCP's Class of 2020 is going to college!
As high school comes to an end and we officially pivot towards the college enrollment process, we celebrate the many years that students' have dedicated to becoming college ready.
For first-generation students there is still a long road before reaching their first day of college. DCP remains committed to supporting all of its graduates in navigating the college-level financial, social, and academic systems particularly as they have been further complicated by COVID-19 policies.

Distance College Counseling
School closures and the subsequent transition to distance learning have highlighted the disparities in tech access for low-income families that have always existed. DCP families have always worked through these challenges and this year is no exception. Leveraging phones, tablets, Chromebooks, hotspots, Zoom, FaceTime, etc. -- our critical College Decision Meetings still happened. Below are some images capturing those beautiful moments where students and families celebrated their acceptances, their college decisions, and most importantly the fulfillment of lifelong, multi-generational hopes and dreams.
